With over a decade of experience in the Private Security and Investigative Industry, the Founder and CEO John Banahene Opoku is humble, dedicated to truth and witty.
John quickly rose up the ranks, working as a security guard at BMO Field, Sears Canada, Shopper’s Drug Mart and Hudson’s Bay Company before he became a Private Investigator. He then worked with many formidable agencies within the industry, becoming a prolific Senior Private Investigator the industry currently demands for.
This acumen earned him nicknames like “Eagle Eyes” and “007”.
With a shared knowledge in the legal Industry as a Licensed Paralegal with the “Law Society of Ontario”, John’s investigative work is concise with court-ready video evidence, reports and are without any ambiguity, while closing well over hundreds of insurance and other cases each year. With this exceptional experience under his belt, John founded Ascent Intelligence in 2019 - with a unique team of investigators like himself, investigating relentlessly numerous cases while exceeding client’s expectations.
